Service Improvement
The NHS Elect service improvement work programme includes work on-site with clinical and managerial teams in support of local improvement projects and training and development for teams to enable them to provide them with skills and resources to deliver local change projects.
Our on-site, bespoke work falls into two main areas:
1. Service reviews and local change projects
2. On-site training and development
In addition, we deliver regular network-wide events. The events calendar includes events every month designed to provide clinicians and managers with tools, techniques and knowledge to deliver local service improvement. A number of events include speakers from the network and colleagues from the wider NHS who are delivering new and innovative service models designed to improve the care we provide to our patients. All events provide managers and clinicians leading improvement with an opportunity to meet together, share their experiences and learn from one another.
The work is delivered by an experienced team of NHS managers and clinicians, led by Eilis Parker and Caroline Dove. To read their biographies please click here. Eilis and Caroline have worked with members across the network since 2002 on local improvement projects and have supported national programmes on 18 weeks and enhanced recovery. Team members include nationally known NHS improvement experts including Philippa Robinson, Amanda Layton, Rob Davis and Sir Graham Morgan.
